The information is vital for the economic, social, cultural and political development of all organizations. Cuba has circulated various legal grounds establishing a mandatory


Implementation of Management Information Systems. This work aims to identify within the Cuban legal basis as it is the issue of implementation of Information Management Systems in organizations. Documentary analysis was performed of the Cuban legal basis: Decree -Law No. 281. System Management and Business Management, Resolution 297 / 03. Internal Control System and ISO 9000:2005 NC. Systems Quality Management. The development of an information management system may be different according to the company or areas where it is performed and is composed of subsystems: Internal Control System is a management tool capable of achieving efficient and effective organizational processes since it consists five components to plan , organize, implement and monitor the performance of the organization and of which the fourth is related to the implementation of an information management system .System Management and Business Management is one of the two stages of the Business Improvement process for which the Cuban organizations are required to study the system both internal and external information and management systems implement quality improvement process in organizations, which generate profits and enhance the competitiveness of the same .
