Influencia del remplazo de las reinas en los rendimientos de producción de miel por colmenas

Abstract
En el presente trabajo se escogieron las series históricas de producción de los años 1984-1997 del país en cuanto a la producción de reinas y rendimientos por colmenas, realizándose una comparación de que a medida que aumenta la producción de reinas con el objetivo de remplazo y creación de nuevas colmenas con reinas genéticamente deseables los rendimientos por colmenas aumentan, se trabajó además con los resultados de Selección Masal y Mejoramiento Genético de la Abeja en Cuba, que trajo consigo un incremento significativo de la producción de miel y cera una cierta resistencia a las enfermedades bacterianas de la cría (loque) en un 8% y un decrecimiento en un 2% de la tendencia a la enjambrazón.
