Descripción sensorial del complemento nutricional PROPOMIEL Sensorial description of PROPOMIEL as a nutritional complement Vargas Mederos, Daiyanet Estévez Rodríguez, Yadiley Suárez Gómez, Dámarys nutrition complement of apiculture origin sensory evaluation descriptive terms judges complemento nutricional apícola evaluación sensorial términos descriptores jueces El PROPOMIEL es el resultado obtenido a partir de la mezcla de miel de abejas y tintura de propóleos, al cual se le realiza por primera vez un estudio sobre sus características organolépticas, con el objetivo de apoyar la documentación normativa necesaria relacionada a la evaluación sensorial de este complemento nutricional apícola y de esta forma facilitar su comercialización. La investigación se llevó a cabo a través de una comisión de jueces pertenecientes al Centro de Investigaciones Apícolas quienes evaluaron 5 lotes del producto. De las evaluaciones realizadas se obtuvieron 30 términos descriptores, siendo necesario simplificar la lista hasta dejar los términos que mejor describieran el producto. Para ello se realizó una selección de términos descriptores empleando el método referido en la NC-ISO 11035:2008, el cual se basa en la reducción de términos inadecuados, seguido de la evaluación de la intensidad de los atributos, cálculo de la media geométrica y análisis de varianza. De los vocablos generados, fueron seleccionados 15 para describir el PROPOMIEL.  PROPOMIEL is the result obtained from the mixture of honey and propolis tincture, which is made for the first time a study on its organoleptic characteristics, with the aim of supporting the necessary regulatory documentation related to the sensorial evaluation of this apicultural nutritional supplement and in this way facilitate its commercialization. The investigation was carried out through a commission of judges belonging to the Apiculture Research Center who evaluated 5 batches of the product. From the evaluations carried out, 30 descriptive terms were obtained, being necessary to simplify the list until leaving the terms that best describe the product.
